I started playing lacrosse the summer before high school and began finding similarities in skill sets between lacrosse and hockey. I was able to adapt quickly and hold my own on the turf. I was named team captain in my Junior and Senior years, earning an All-Conference Honorable Mention my Senior year.Â
I started skating at a very young age, around 4 or 5 and started playing hockey shortly after. I began playing competitive hockey at the age of 8 and played for clubs in Ann Arbor and Chelsea, MI. My experiences in youth hockey set me up for success not just in athletics, but as a student and contributor to any team.
